Safety Tip
The Danger of Excessive Speeding: Speeding significantly increases the risk of accidents and severe injuries. Higher speeds reduce the driver’s reaction time and make it more difficult to control the vehicle. Always adhere to posted speed limits and drive safely. Peotone Police Officers are continuing added enforcement focusing on speeding, funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
