Graduations
The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh celebrated the achievements of more than 1,300 students in two ceremonies May 18 inside Kolf Sports Center. The 150th spring commencement included the recognition of candidates for doctoral, master’s degree, bachelor’s degree, and associate degree students and included Brian White, of Manhattan, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Education, Physical Education
Aidan Hart, of New Lenox, graduated with an M.B.A. in Management from Millikin University. Aidan was one of more than 270 graduates recognized during the spring commencement ceremonies at the Kirkland Fine Arts Center on May 19.
More than 2,380 students completed a total of 2,645 degrees and certificates at Wichita State University this spring, including Brylee M. Kelly, from Peotone, who was awarded a Master of Business Administration.
A total of 8,586 students received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison on May 10-11, including Mitchell Gray, of New Lenox, who was awarded a Master of Science – Chemistry.
Dean’s List
Seton Hall University, in South Orange, New Jersey, is pleased to announce Lea Moeller, of New Lenox, has qualified for the spring Dean’s List.
Anthony Floyd, of New Lenox, earned Dean’s List honors at the University of Tampa for the spring semester. Floyd, a freshman, is majoring in Finance.
Summer Study
Bradley Szubryt, of New Lenox, participates in Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at Carthage College: Szubryt is conducting research into “The Role of Incompleteness and Disgust in Predicting OCD Symptoms: An Induction Study,” with Prof. Sara O’Brien. Szubryt is studying Psychology and Neuroscience and anticipates graduating in 2025.
