On June 25, at approximately 6:13 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Terrell Roland, 26, of Steger. Roland was issued citations for improper use of evidence of registration or certificate of title and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.
On June 26, at approximately 3:03 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Darea Davis, 24, of Justice. Davis was issued citations for improper lighting and no valid license/permit, which had expired for more than one year. She was released with a notice-to-appear via her citations.
On June 26, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Monee Officers located a vehicle the Maywood Police Department wanted for aggravated fleeing and eluding. The officers found the car parked unattended at the Burger King and confirmed the vehicle was the one Maywood wanted. At that time, the car’s owner appeared, and they advised him the vehicle was wanted in an aggravated fleeing and eluding case out of Maywood. He denied knowledge of the event. Maywood asked officers to seize the car for them and have it towed for safekeeping until they could arrange to have it brought to Maywood. The owner was notified where the vehicle was going and advised to call the Maywood Police Department for further information.
On June 27, at approximately 2:54 p.m., officers responded to the Country Host Motel regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant/victim, who stated a male subject named Devante Anthony was kicking the door to their motel room. The complainant/victim said Anthony believed the complainant’s son stole his cannabis grinder. Officers talked to Anthony, who said the complainant’s son and he smoked cannabis together, and he thought he stole his grinder. Officers watched a video recording of Anthony using the heel of his foot to kick the complainant/victim’s motel room door eight times. Officers arrested him after the complainant/victim said they would sign complaints. Anthony was arrested for disorderly conduct-breach of peace and released with a pretrial notice-to-appear.
On June 28, at approximately 6:46 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Rachelle Carlson, 52, of Monee. Carlson was issued citations for speeding over the statutory limit and operating a motor vehicle with no valid license. She was released with a notice-to-appear via her citations.
