On June 14, Peotone Police and Fire were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a flipped vehicle, at N. Harlem Avenue and Hauert Street. The single occupant of the overturned vehicle was transported to the hospital by Manhattan FPD. Officers spoke with both drivers and completed an accident report. Each driver received a traffic citation: Driver one for failure to yield from a private road or drive, and driver two for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The vehicles were towed from the scene.

On June 17, an officer met with a complainant, in the 300 block of Garfield, regarding a dispute over money and subsequent harassment. The officer explained the money dispute is a civil matter but advised the complainant to contact the police if the individual shows up at their property.

On June 17, officers responded to a report of two abandoned bikes in the park. The bikes were recovered and secured at the police department, as the owners could not be located. If you are missing bicycles, please contact the Peotone Police Department.

On June 17, officers were dispatched for a report of a belligerent customer, in the 100 block of Harlem. Upon arrival, officers were informed the customer had left the premises, and no further police assistance was needed.
