On May 30, at approximately 2:13 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jeffrey Givens, 61, of Park Forest. Givens was issued citations for operating a vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended or revoked and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. He was released with a notice to appear via his citations.

On May 31, at approximately 1 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jeffrey Nowden Jr., 39, of Glenwood. Nowden was issued citations for operating a vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked and was found to have an outstanding Will County Warrant. He was released with a notice to appear via his citations and processed for the warrant.

On June 1, at approximately 7:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to 5915 Monee-Manhattan Road (Petro Travel Center), for a report of burglary to a semi-trailer. Upon the officers’ arrival, they were met by the semi driver, who said he spent the night in his sleeper and upon exiting his truck in the morning discovered cargo seal laying on the ground directly behind the trailer. He said he found a cargo box in the trailer open and several items scattered on the trailer deck. It was unknown what was taken. The Monee Police Department increased patrol in the Petro parking lot to discourage further burglaries.

On June 3, at approximately 5 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Rebecca Hofeld, 30, of Orland Park. Hofeld was charged with operating a vehicle when registration was suspended for non-insurance and operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license. Hofeld was given a notice to appear via her citations.

On June 4, at approximately 8:43 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Arthur Reed III, 34, of Franklin, Indiana. Reed was charged with failing to signal when turning and processed for an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. Reed posted a $500 bond for the warrant and received a notice to appear for the traffic violation.

On June 5, at approximately 5:12 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Geraldo Drake, 36, of Chicago Heights. Drake was charged with operating a vehicle with an expired registration sticker and a suspended or revoked license. Drake was given a notice to appear via his citations.
