Two seniors from the Peotone High School Class of 2024 were honored recipients of the American Legion Awards at graduation ceremonies on May 24 – Madison Schroeder and Ian Kreske.
Madison, daughter of Jill and Justin Schroeder, will attend Northern Michigan University in the fall to pursue a degree in Health and Human Performance. Ian, son of Angie and Josh Kreske, will attend the University of Iowa and plans to pursue a degree to become a Chiropractor.
Madison and Ian each will receive a monetary scholarship sponsored by Peotone American Legion Post No. 392 and were selected by the high school faculty from the top 20 percent of the Class of 2024 who exemplify citizenship, service, and character. Congratulations to these outstanding individuals!
