The Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS recognized Ashley Toepper, with Exclusive Realtors at 207 N. Second Street in Peotone, as part of the organization’s “20 Under 40 Class of 2024.” Ashley was acknowledged as a REALTOR in the Chicagoland area for her outstanding commitment to her colleagues, clients, and communities.
Ashley grew up in Kankakee but has been a resident of the Peotone and Green Garden area for the past 10 years. She and her husband, Matt, along with their three children – Maddyx who is 13, Easton – 10, and Hendrix – five, live on a horse farm in Green Garden, along with a plethora of four-legged friends – including horses, a cow and goats, ducks and chickens, as well as the traditional dogs and cats. Often these special animals come to the Toepper’s home after being rescued.
When speaking with Ashley, it is quite evident she is a most committed and caring person, not only in her profession, but in her family and the community, as well. She loves helping people, and that is evident with her involvement in benefit horse shows, various fundraisers, and as a sponsor for local youth sport teams.
When asked what drew her to the realtor profession, she said: “I am amazed by the beauty and uniqueness each home represents. I love helping people, and I want to make selling or buying a home as easy and stress-free as possible” – and that she does.
The community also may remember Ashley in another role, as several years ago she was named “Mrs. Peotone,” and claimed fourth runner-up in the Mrs. Illinois contest.

Mainstreet recognized 20 REALTORS 40 years and under who demonstrated business success, community involvement, and professional leadership. The individuals shared personal stories of growth, innovative tactics to expand their footprint, and what being a realtor means to them.
