Get ready to embark on a culinary journey like no other as Visit Kankakee County proudly unveils the much-anticipated Kankakee County Taco Trail. Launched on May 21, this trail promises to excite taste buds and showcase the diverse flavors of Kankakee County’s taco scene.

The Kankakee County Taco Trail is a celebration of culinary creativity, featuring six handpicked taco stops – with hopes of adding more, each adding their own unique twist to this beloved dish. From traditional street-style tacos bursting with flavor to innovative BBQ and plant-based options, this trail offers a delectable exploration of the county’s cultural richness.

Just like its Craft Beverage Trail, participating in this delicious adventure is made simple and convenient with the eATLAS app.

How does it work? It’s easy! Simply download the eATLAS app, available free on a smartphone. At any of the trail stops, scan the QR code provided and follow the prompts to set up a user profile. Once completed, participants have access to the Kankakee County Taco Trail map, guiding them through each mouthwatering destination.

The six must-visit taco stops on the Kankakee County Taco Trail include: BENG, Jimmy Jo’s BBQ, La Cocina Macias, Rigo’s Tacos #2, Martinez Taco, and Dos Amigos.

There’s no rush on this flavorful expedition – participants can choose to complete the trail at their own pace. Just like with the Craft Beverage Trail, completing the Taco Trail comes with the chance to win a prize! Simply mark your adventure as complete on the app, take a screenshot of your finished stops, and email it to info@kccvb.com, along with your mailing address to be entered into a drawing to receive a special prize.
