On May 17, officers were dispatched for a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Second Street. Upon arrival, they spoke with both individuals involved, who stated they had been in a heated argument but did not need police intervention. One party agreed to leave the premises, and the other advised no further police assistance was required.

On May 20, officers were dispatched for a business check in the 100 block of Harlem and found the doors open and broken. They checked the interior for suspects but found none. A key holder was contacted and, upon arrival, discovered two vehicles (a 2017 Yellow Corvette and a 2015 Grey Corvette) and several license plates were stolen. There also was an attempt to steal one other vehicle. The Peotone Detective responded for crime scene processing, and the stolen items were entered into the national hot file database. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 21, an individual walked into the Peotone Police Station to report fraud. The complainant received a letter stating he owed money on a small business loan, which he had not applied for. His personal information was used fraudulently. A fraud report was completed, with all available information.
