All ages summer reading challenge!

This year, Bourbonnais Public Library’s summer reading challenge is called Read for the Gold. The program will run from Saturday, June 1, to Wednesday, July 31, with readers of all ages invited to participate. Read for the Gold offers tiers for kids, tweens and teens, and adults. Look forward to fun programs and fabulous prizes!

Kids will record reading on a paper log that may be picked-up at the library beginning June 1. Tweens, teens, and adults will track their reading on the Beanstack app. More information on the challenge for each age group is found on the library website under the ‘Events’ tab.

Read for the Gold was inspired by this summer’s Olympics in Paris. As athletes around the world gather to compete, we pass the torch to you. Read or listen to whatever you like, track your progress, and then step up to the podium – reading champion! On your marks, get set, read!
