Miranda Tyda, a sophomore from New Lennox, portrayed a shepherd in Augustana’s performance of “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on February 17, in the Brunner Theatre.
Miles Hagen, from New Lenox, conducted and presented undergraduate research at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater during the 2023-24 academic year. Hagen, who is studying Biology, presented the following project “Functional Analysis of the pdk-1 gene in Brugia malayi.”
The Undergraduate Research Program (URP) offers a variety of programs aimed to connect students with faculty mentors and provide them with enriching research opportunities. This can be in the form of working alongside a mentor as a student researcher, or creating independent, student-led projects with a mentor’s help.
