State Rep. Tim Ozinga is launching his annual “Valentines for Veterans” program for local veterans. Cards may be dropped off at Rep. Ozinga’s district office, 11019 Front Street, Suite 1W, in Mokena, through Monday, February 12.
“There is always more we can do to support our veterans,” said Rep. Ozinga. “This program is a way for us to honor our veterans by showing them support and appreciation. I know many veterans look forward to receiving these cards each year, and I am excited to see our community come together for this program.”
All ages are encouraged to participate by writing cards with well wishes for veterans. The cards will be delivered to veterans residing at the Manteno Veterans Home in time for Valentine’s Day. For more information about Representative Ozinga, visit RepOzinga.org.
