
In the Bobcat’s Homecoming game on Friday, January 19, Beecher fans had much to celebrate with an 85-53 victory over Clifton Central.
There was never any doubt about the outcome of the game as Beecher set the pace at the very beginning, scoring the first 8 points, then leading 29-17 at the end of the period. It was Bobcats 44-29 at the half, 75-44 as the third period closed, and 85-53 at the closing buzzer.
On the night, Zack Johnson led the scoring with 24 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds. Adyn McGinley tallied 18 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds, Ethan Rydberg added 16 points and 7 assists, while Jack Hayhurst finished with 9 points and 4 assists.
The Bobcats are a well-disciplined team, always looking for the better shot. Beecher stands with a perfect record at 20-0 overall and 8-0 in the RVC.
The Bobcats next will take on Grace Christian Academy in Kankakee on Friday, January 26, at 6 p.m.
