On Tuesday, January 9, the Beecher Bobcat Cagers faced conference rival Momence and gave their fans a blowout victory, 76-31.

The Bobcats started off very tough and had an 11-0 lead with only 3 minutes off the clock in the first quarter – and they didn’t stop. In the second, with 2:02 left on the clock, the fans knew the Bobcats were in command, leading 29-3.

In the second half, Beecher Coach Tyler Shireman rested his starters, but the six players coming off the bench couldn’t be stopped either, also adding to the tally. Momence finally got into a rhythm and began scoring, but it was too little, too late.

On the night, Zack Johnson led with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, followed by Adyn McGinley with 15 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Ethan Rydberg tallied 11 points and 5 assists, while Jack Hayhurst finished with 8 points and 3 steals.

Beecher currently is 19-0 overall and 7-0 in the RVC.
