On Friday, January 5, the Beecher Bobcats traveled to Cullom to the ultimate dismay of conference foe Tri-Point, as the Bobcats came home with a 49-point victory. The Bobcats held Tri-Point to only 24 points in the 73-24 win.
On the night, Zack Johnson led the scoring with 18 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists, Adyn McGinley added 8 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals, while Ethan Rydberg also finished with 8 points and 3 assists.
The next day, Saturday, January 6, the Bobcats faced Peoria Notre Dame in the Taylorville Shootout and brought home a 43-40 win in overtime.
Adyn McGinley led with 16 points and 7 rebounds, Zack Johnson added 11 points with 4 rebounds, Noah Berry tallied 8 points and 5 rebounds, while Ethan Rydberg finished with 6 points.
Beecher currently is 18-0 overall and 6-0 in the RVC.
