Winners for the 45th annual Gallery of Trees “Favorite Themes from the Past” display recently were announced. Congratulations to the following winners.
In adult voting, first place was won by the Kankakee Valley Garden Club, whose theme displayed birds. Second place was taken by the Kankakee Kultivators, featuring All Things Bright and Beautiful, while third place honors went to Uplifted Care, for Films of the Holiday Season.
Children’s voting winners were: First place – Kankakee Trinity Academy, with The Very Hungry Caterpillar; second place – Child Network and Through the Eyes of a Child; and third place – Friends of the Limestone Library, who featured the Grinch.
More than 4,000 people visited the Gallery of Trees throughout December. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all organizations for their creativity and holiday spirit!
