On Tuesday, December 18, in a home non-conference match-up with the Lady Irish at Bishop Mac, the Peotone Blue Devils came out but were shooting cold. It seemed the Lady Irish’s defense had them puzzled, despite 18 points by Madi Schroeder and 8 by Ashley Renwick. Peotone only had 2 three pointers in the game, when they usually have at least 6 or more. Rebounding on the offensive also was tough, and there were not too many second chance shots.
The second half was the hardest, with the Blue Devils out-scored 23-19. Peotone just couldn’t break the ice and get any closer than 9 points in the 34-43 loss.
The Lady Blue Devils are 8-4 overall and 4-1 in ICE.
