December 14, Venessa Gradowski, 38, of the 1700 block of Prentiss Drive, Downers Grove, was arrested after officers were called to 1121 Dixie Highway for a retail theft call. She was charged with retail theft, obstructing identification, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. She also was wanted on two no bond warrants. Gradowski was issued a notice to appear on the Beecher charges that do not require the posting of bond and was transported to the Will County Adult Detention facility for the two no bond warrants.
December 16, Melanie Ratajczak, 47, was arrested at her home in the 200 block of Woodward, Beecher, on a retail theft warrant from Manhattan. She was given a notice to appear and released without posting bond.
