Doris Brockman, of Beecher, passed away December 6, 2023, surrounded by family. Born July 15, 1935, she was the daughter of Marie and William Istel.
A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, she had many treasured friendships. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, loved animals, and enjoyed nature, music, and gardening. She also was generous to many charities and causes.
She is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Steve) Steiner of Beecher, Linda (Joe) Nuccio of Lowell, and Gloria (Bob) Ringberg of Crete; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Kelli, and Robert. Doris was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Priebe; her second husband, Ralph Brockman; and her son, Steven Priebe.
Funeral services were held on December 12, at Zion United Church of Christ in Dyer, with burial at Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements were conducted by Hack-Jensen Funeral Home in Beecher.
