October 25, Lemere Lindsey, 23, of the 150 block of Del Mar Lane, Aurora, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at Dixie Highway and Indiana Avenue for having an expired registration. The driver was issued a written warning citation, and Lindsey was charged with adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. He was issued a notice-to-appear and released without posting bond.
November 11, officers were called to 1350 Dixie Highway for an armed robbery. Michael C. Dennis, 51, was identified as the offender. Dennis had committed other serious crimes in other towns near Beecher. On November 13, officers from Steger, Crete, South Chicago Heights, Park Forest, Monee, and Beecher apprehended Dennis after a foot chase, and he was charged with the Beecher armed robbery and numerous other felonies in several towns, then transported to the Will County Adult Detention facility.
November 16, Brandon Kapaldo, 29, of the 8000 block of 174th Avenue, Lowell, Indiana, was stopped at 901 Dixie Highway for having multiple vehicle equipment violations and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was issued warnings for the equipment violations and a citation for having a suspended driver’s license. He was released without posting bond.
November 18, George Flores, 26, of the 200 block of Hunters Drive, Beecher, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Church Road for failure to dim bright lights and found to possess cannabis. He was issued citations for the headlight violation and adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, then released without posting bond.
On November 19, Cameron Lloyd, 33, of the 900 block of Mary Byrne Drive, Sauk Village, was stopped at 1201 Dixie Highway for speeding and found to have a suspended driver’s license. He was issued citations and released without posting bond.
November 20, Manuel Ortiz, 42, of the 22400 block of Merril Avenue, Sauk Village, was stopped at 901 Dixie Highway for a vehicle equipment violation and was found to have no valid driver’s license. He was charged with having no valid driver’s license and improper use of registration, issued citations, and was released without posting bond.
November 26, Alma Solares, 19, of the 1900 block of Hope Court, Lynwood, was stopped at Dixie Highway and Indiana Avenue for having an expired registration and found to have a suspended driver’s license, along with a suspended vehicle registration. She was issued citations for both offenses and released without posting bond.
