
Ava Daly, the daughter of Beth and Don Daly, is a four-year member of the cheer team. Ava’s favorite memory with the cheer team is during stunt camp, when they had been working on straight up libs, a skill she has been working on since the beginning of junior year. They finally got the skill at the end of practice, but there were lots of tears due to frustration. They finally hit it, and everyone was so happy. After high school, Ava plans on going to JJC to study culinary arts, then finish her degree at another college to be a dietitian. Ava plans to continue her cheer career throughout her college years and would like to work in a hospital as a dietitian.

Alexee Kennealy is the daughter of Aimee and Chris Kennealy and a two-year member of the cheer team. Alexee’s favorite memory from the cheer team is performing at halftime under the lights. After high school, she plans on going into the trades to be an electrician or automobile tech.

Grace Knauer is the daughter of Gina and Brad Knauer and a four-year member of the cheer team. Grace’s favorite memory with the cheer team included the adrenaline rush she felt with every performance. After high school, Grace plans on attending college to pursue a career in radiology, while continuing to cheer.

Avery Postma, daughter of Christie and Jason Postma, is a four-year member of the cheer team. Avery’s favorite memory of the cheer team is the last competition season. Although there were highs and lows, competition season definitely has been the highlight of her varsity cheerleading career. Running off the competition mat after a hit routine gives a feeling of adrenaline like nothing else and is filled with a team connection stronger than at any other moment. Competition led to strengthening bonds with many of the cheerleaders, especially the members of her stunt group. After high school, Avery plans on attending a four-year university to study creative writing in hopes of being a published author.

Marissa Reed is the daughter of Teri and Phil Reed and a two-year member of the cheer team. Marissa’s favorite memory of being a part of the cheer team is working as a team to hit their stunts and cheering on the football team under the Friday night lights! After high school, Marissa plans to pursue a career in orthodontics.
