October 23, at approximately 6:42 p.m., a traffic stop on Ridgeland resulted in the arrest of Amari N. Thelmon, 27, of the 7400 block of S. Kimbark Avenue, Chicago, for driving with a suspended license, no valid insurance, and passing on the left oncoming traffic. He was cited and released.

October 24, at approximately 6:08 p.m., a traffic stop on Monee-Manhattan Road resulted in the arrest of Sierra S. Crawford, 27, of the 3600 block of Tamarind Lane, Hazel Crest, for driving with a suspended license, no valid insurance, and expired plates. She was cited and released.

October 24, at 6:15 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Aaron D. Fox, 23, of the 26100 block of S. Locust Place, Monee, for driving with no valid license past one year and a no bond warrant issued by the Illinois State Police. Fox was cited for his violations and transported to the Will County Correctional Facility in Joliet for further processing for the no-bond warrant.

October 25, at approximately 11:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Petro Travel Center, 5915 W. Monee-Manhattan Road, regarding a theft complaint. Upon officers’ arrival, the Petro Store Manager advised them she received a call from a business entity that someone used their business credit card to purchase 464 gallons of diesel fuel for $ 2,092.53. Monee officers and investigators were able to leverage Monee PD assets and identify the vehicle used in the theft and its location. Monee investigators were able to track the offenders and coordinate a safe arrest. Obel Corcho-Melgarejo was arrested for retail theft, identity theft, and money laundering. Corcho-Melgarejo was released with a pre-trial notice to appear.

October 26, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Monee investigators met with Chad E. Anderson, 35, of the 700 block of W. Windsor Avenue, Crete, for accusations he violated an order of protection. Anderson was interviewed and, after initially denying he violated the order of protection, it was discovered he did violate it. He was arrested, processed, and released, with a pre-trial notice to appear.

October 27, at approximately 5:31 p.m., a traffic stop on Monee-Manhattan Road resulted in the arrest of Joseph F. Perritano, 28, of the 19500 block of S. Beechnut Drive, in Mokena, for driving with a revoked license, operation of a vehicle without registration, improper display of registration, and no valid insurance. He was cited and released.
