On Tuesday, October 3, the Bobcat soccer team traveled to play conference rival Momence, bringing home a 9-5 victory. It was never in doubt, as Beecher led at the half, 8-2, then added one more goal to three additional ones for Momence, but sealing the win.
For the Bobcats, Wences Baumgartner had 3 goals and 3 assists, Logan Wilkins – 2 goals with 2 assists, and Nate Diachenko – 1 goal and 1 assist. Axel Avila, Tyler Kramer, and Gavin Graham each added 1 goal, while Gavin Smith was credited with 1 assist.
The next day, Wednesday, October 4, Beecher was home in non-conference competition with Peotone. The Bobcats, leading the Blue Devils 2-0 at the half, finished with a 4-1 win. Wences Baumgartner had 2 goals and 1 assist, Tyler Kramer recorded 1 goal and 1 assist, with Nate Diachenko adding 1 goal. Jimmy Kypuros was credited with a fantastic 10 saves.
