On August 31, in front of the hometown fans, the Bobcats faced conference foe Illinois Lutheran. The Bobcats led at the half, 7-1, then scored 3 more goals in the second for the 10-1 win.

For Beecher, Wences Baumgartner recorded 3 goals and 2 assists, Logan Wilkins added 2 goals and 1 assist, Nate Diachenko and Tyler Olson were credited with 2 goals each, Gavin Graham added 1 goal and 1 assist, while Gavin Smith, Miguel Corral, Paxton Gorcowski, and Jimmy Kypuros each had 1 assist. Kypuros also was credited with 1 save

The next day, Tuesday, September 5, Beecher faced conference rival Grace Christian Academy, at home, which also resulted in a lop-sided 9-0 win. The Bobcats were leading 8-0 at the half, then added 1 more goal in the second for the victory.

Scoring for the Bobcats were Logan Wilkins, with 2 goals and 3 assists, Nate Diachenko – 2 goals and 2 assists, Wences Baumgartner – 2 goals and 1 assist, while Miguel Corral, Axel Avila, and Logan Diachenko were credited with 1 goal each, along with 1 assist by Gavin Smith. Jimmy Kypuros provided 2 saves.

Then on Wednesday, September 6, the Bobcats traveled to Coal City for non-conference competition. Beecher led at the half, 5-0, then added 2 more goals in the second, along with 1 for Coal City, to make the final score 7-1 Bobcats.

Scoring for Beecher were Logan Wilkins, with 2 goals and 2 assists, Wences Baumgartner – 2 goals and 1 assist, Ethan Rydberg – 2 goals, and Gavin Smith – 1 goal. Miguel Corral and Axel Avila each had 1 assist, while Jimmy Kypuros was credited with 5 saves.

In a home conference match on Thursday, September 7, Beecher beat Momence. Leading at the half, 4-0, the Bobcats scored 5 more goals to Momence’s 2, to make the final tally 9-2.

For Beecher, Wences Baumgartner recorded 4 goals, Logan Wilkins – 2 goals and 4 assists, Nate Diachenko – 2 goals, Ethan Rydberg – 1 goal, while Tyler Kramer was credited with 1 assist. On the day, Jimmy Kypuros had 6 saves.

At the end of the week, Beecher’s record was 8-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the RVC.
