September 2: Sensory Playtime, Saturday, from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m., ages zero to five.

September 5: Bookworm Buddies, Tuesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages three to five years.

September 5: Kids Take and Make craft, available on first come, first serve basis.

September 6: Little Learners Storytime, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., ages zero-three.

September 7: Kids’ Bingo for Books, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Play and animal themed Bingo game for a chance to win a free book.

September 5: Tuesday Book Club, from 6 – 7 p.m. The group will discuss “The Christie Affair,” by Nina de Garmont.

September 6: Computer Basics One-on-One, Wednesday, from 11-11:30 a.m. A staff member will devote 30-minute time slots to help with computer needs, including computer basics, setting up an email account and sending attachments, creating resumes, learning how to use the Internet or a word document – you decide. Call to reserve a time slot.

September 6: The Power of Story, with Colson Whitehead, at 7 p.m., online; Pulitzer Prize winning #1 New York Times bestselling author Colson Whitehead will present an online live event, which is made possible by Illinois Libraries Present. Register.

September 7: Mystery Book Club, from 11 a.m. to noon, at the Heritage Center in Monee, 5210 W. Court Street. The club will discuss “The Socialite’s Guide to Murder,” by S.K. Golden.
