The Will County Center for Economic Development (CED) will host a workshop on sparking Manufacturing Success in Will County, on Tuesday, August 22, beginning at 7:30 a.m. with networking and coffee, followed by opening remarks and introductions at 8 a.m., and the expert roundtable and panel discussion from 8:25 to 9:30 a.m., at Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Road, in Joliet.

Organizers cordially invite you to this early morning workshop, designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the vast opportunities available. Engage in enlightening discussions with a panel of esteemed manufacturers from Will County and actively participate as the group collectively ignites the flames of progress in Illinois manufacturing!

For the roundtable discussion, the challenges of worker shortages and skills gaps that persist in the manufacturing sector will be highlighted. With an aging workforce and the influx of a new generation, manufacturers face the need for a multi-faceted approach to build their talent pipeline.
