Graduations
Hannah Miller, of New Lenox, graduated from the University of Tampa on Saturday, May 6. Miller graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
The following local students graduated from Drake University at the end of the spring semester, including: Nora Mensah Felder, Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, News, plus Bachelor of Arts, International Relations; and Brianna Schmitt, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting. Both graduates are from New Lenox.
John Arizzi, of New Lenox, graduated with a Master of Science, Criminology and Criminal Justice, from Missouri State University in May.
Dean’s/President’s Lists
Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who were named to the Dean’s Lists for the spring semester, including: High Dean’s List – Delaney Balmer, of Peotone, and Aidan Hart, of New Lenox; plus Dean’s List – Jacob Dorris, New Lenox.
Samuel Sumrow, of New Lenox, has been named to the Blackburn College Dean’s List for the spring semester.
Carthage College, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, recently named students named to the Dean’s List in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement in the spring term, including: Gabrielle Pavesich, from Beecher; Quentin Villa, from Manhattan; plus Quinlan Roth, Abigail Crowhurst, Bradley Szubryt, Kailey Wagner, Wyatt Goorsky, Kailey Lysik, and Abigail Karpluk, all of New Lenox.
Augustana College, in Rock Island, announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester, including:

Honor Society Induction
Lucas Hancock, of New Lenox, recently was initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Hancock was initiated at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
