June 19, at approximately 4 p.m., a traffic stop for expired plates ended with a Hazel Crest man being charged with driving while suspended, plus several registration violations. Marvin Jones, 33, was processed and bonded.

June 21, at approximately 3 p.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road business contacted MPD to report a theft at the business. According to the owner, five teenagers, approximately 15 years old, filled their purses with candy, drinks, and other trinkets, and then ran from the store. Investigations is following up.

June 21, at approximately 4 p.m., officers took a report of theft by deception when a Monee man sent $800 in gift cards to a Wisconsin address for the purchase of a trailer on Ebay. After losing contact with the seller, the victim contacted Ebay and found there was no record of the sale. Ebay advised several scammers utilize the Ebay logo to con unsuspecting buyers. Investigations is following up.

June 22, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a Monee-Manhattan Road traffic stop for expired registration and improper lane use resulted in the arrest of a Dyer, Indiana, man for unlawful possession of ammunition. Brian Radowicz, 34, was secured and transported.

June 23, at approximately 3 p.m., officers responded to the Red Roof Inn for a theft report. The desk clerk had her wallet taken from the office and found later in the hallway. She reported some USC and a credit card had been taken. Video has been recovered, and Investigations is following up.

June 25, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a Crestwood man was stopped for speeding and found also to be driving with a suspended license. Anthony J. Ramsey, 33, also was found to be wanted for failure to appear in Will County. While being processed, Ramsey was found to be in unlawful possession of cannabis and received another ticket. He then was processed and transported.
