Beecher tallied 11 runs, on 5 hits, and 3 errors, while Momence scored 7 runs, on 7 hits, with 5 errors.
In the regional semi-final contest on Wednesday, May 17, Reed-Custer beat the Bobcats, 15-0, in four innings. Beecher’s bats also were silent in the shut-out, with Reed-Custer pitching allowing no hits in the contest. Nolen Lane took the loss for the Bobcats. Reed-Custer scored their 15 runs, on 12 hits, with no errors.
The Bobcats finish the season with an overall 16-14 record.
