The Park Forest Historical Society will hold its in-person induction ceremony and reception on Sunday, April 16, at 3 p.m., at Freedom Hall, 410 Lakewood Boulevard. Hall of Fame 2023 Inductees are: Gary V. Friedlund, the Hon. Raymond Funderburk, Andrew Gladstone, Georgette Gladstone, John A. Ostenburg, and Dave Rudolf. Inductees from 2020, 2021, and 2022 will be recognized during the ceremony, with those attending able to greet them or their representatives at the reception
Passover display, 1950s Museum: It’s Spring at the Museum will be on display through April 29, with the museum open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 1 – 3:30 p.m., or by appointment at other times.

The museum is decorated with vintage Easter decorations, including die-cuts, honeycombs, and vintage Easter baskets. It also features a Passover display, along with noting the accomplishments of some notable Jewish residents.
Summer at the Museum runs from May 13 – September 9 and will include the Aqua Center anniversary display boards. The bound transcript, along with several photos and drawings of the early pool complex, is available to browse at the museum all year.
