In an effort to ensure every 79th District community has access to her office, House Assistant Minority Leader Jackie Haas will continue hosting satellite office hours in the northern part of her district in Monee, in addition to monthly traveling office hours in Park Forest. While Leader Haas’ main district office is in Kankakee, this is an additional way for area residents to easily access important state resources, meet Leader Haas, and have their questions answered on important pieces of legislation.

Rep. Haas will host Park Forest traveling office hours on the last Thursday of every month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Boulevard. Additionally, residents may visit her Monee satellite office hours every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Monee Village Hall, 5130 W. Court Street.

“In addition to my Monee satellite office hours, I’m delighted to add further opportunities for 79th District constituents to connect with our state office in Park Forest,” said Leader Haas. “It’s a top priority of mine to ensure all 79th District residents have access to the services my state office provides. I’m happy constituents in the northern part of the district will have further access and opportunity to connect with my office.”

Rep. Haas’ main district office is at 370 E Court Street in Kankakee. The 79th District has changed this term and now includes portions of Kankakee, Crete, Richton Park, University Park, Park Forest, and Monee.

Constituents also may contact Rep. Haas with further questions by calling her district office at 815-523-7779 or emailing haas@ilhousegop.org. Visit RepHaas.com for more information and to sign up for Rep. Haas’ monthly legislative update e-newsletter.
