Dear Editor:

I am writing to endorse Jeanine Galbraith for the Crete Monee School Board. Jeanine is deeply committed to the children, parents, and schools in the CM District. She has proven this over and over during the last 8 years she has served on the Board. During this time, she has served as Board secretary and has served on many committees, including bargaining, insurance, and safety. Jeanine has also achieved the IASB Distinguished Board Member Award. She has been involved in many accomplishments while on the Board: NJROTC, manufacturing classes, Healing Paws Therapy Dog Program, the Unity Kitchen, the Community Mentoring Program, and a balanced budget.

Jeanine and her husband, Bill, have lived in Crete 31 years and have been actively involved in many ways. She is a member of the Crete Women’s Club and Angels on Assignment. She has donated her time to the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the Warriors Craft Booster Show, and the Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, to name a few.

Sincerely,

Susan Duran

During her tenure as a Board member, Jeanine has been an active and visible leader. She regularly visits the schools to keep abreast of what’s happening. Jeanine has proven to be an effective and tireless advocate for our schools. She deserves to be reelected to the CM School Board. Please vote on Tuesday, April 4, for Jeanine Galbraith.
