Annual Book Sale: Stop by Manteno Public Library on Saturday, March 11, between 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., for the Friends of the Manteno Public Library annual book sale. The group has a variety of materials for sale, including hard covers, paper backs, puzzles, and kid books. A Book Lover’s Basket, filled with goodies, also is being raffled, with raffle tickets available for purchase on the day of the sale.
Cake Fundraiser Pick-up: Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser pre-orders will be ready for pick-up on March 11, from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Additional cakes available for purchase (cash only), while supplies last.
New to Manteno Public Library: The library is excited to share the popular on-demand free streaming service, Hoopla Digital! Hoopla digital is a collection that includes popular entertainment and educational content, such as hit TV series, newly released music, bestselling audiobooks, eBooks, and much more 24/7. Manteno library patrons are limited to five borrows per month. Content can be streamed from any computer or mobile device by downloading the hoopla digital app for IOS and Android.
Donation Drive: Manteno Public Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is excited to partner with River Valley Animal Rescue in a donation drive that runs through March 28. A wish list of donation items may be picked up at the library or found on the library’s website at www.mantenolibrary.org. All donations should be dropped off at MPL. For each donation, you will receive a raffle ticket for the Animal Lover’s Gift Basket! Donate an item from the wish list highlighted in yellow and receive an additional raffle ticket.
