With the support of the Crete Woman’s Club’s fundraising efforts, the organization is able to offer college and technical trade school scholarships to graduating students attending Crete-Monee High School again this year. College scholarship recipients will receive $2,000 each, with technical/trade scholarships awarded in the amount of $1,500 each.
Summer camp scholarships, up to $350, are awarded to students in grades three through 11, who attend Crete-Monee Schools or students who attend other area schools and live in Crete Township.
Applications are available to all interested students in the elementary school principal’s office or high school counselor’s office. The completed application deadline is April 14, and should be mailed to: Angelyn Zmuda, Crete Woman’s Club, P.O. Box 104, Crete, IL 60417.
