On Saturday, February 11, in a home playoff game, the Lady Panthers beat Wilmington, 36-30, while also outrebounding Wilmington, 48-22. The victory made it the first 15-season win since 2006 and the first quarterfinal win since 2014.
On the night, senior Katherine Gaffney led with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals, junior Sydney Sosnowski added 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals, senior Kylie Saathoff scored 5 points along with 11 rebounds, and sophomore Macy Iwanus finished with 5 points and 5 rebounds.
Also, sophomore Ava Peterson added 4 points, senior Drew Hosselton – 3 points and 5 rebounds, junior Sara Schmidt – 2 points and 8 rebounds, and senior Alexa Willis – 2 points and 2 assists.
