Clove Alliance is accepting work for the third annual “Brave, Bold and Believed Art Show” at the Kankakee County Museum. Artists may submit up to two works. In the student divisions, participating artists must be in seventh-12th grade, or 18 years of age or older if entering in the adult division. Artists may enter the show anonymously, which must be indicated on the entry form.

Submitted work can either be two- or three-dimensional. Two- dimensional media must be no larger than 3.5 feet tall and four feet wide, and not exceed 20 pounds, including black and white and colored drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, photography, and mixed media.

Three-dimensional work accepted can be no larger than 22 inches high and 12 inches in diameter and weigh no more than 10 pounds. Artwork may be submitted framed or unframed.

Work may be submitted April 5 and 6, from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m., at the Clove Alliance office, 1440 W. Court Street in Kankakee. No late entries accepted. If exhibitors need to arrange a drop off date/time outside of the listed times or at the Watseka office, please contact the Clove Alliance Prevention Department.

There will be an opening reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, April 13, at the Kankakee County Museum, 801 S. Eighth Avenue, Kankakee. The exhibition will be on display from Friday, April 14, to Wednesday, May 3. Exhibitors are asked to pick up their work on either May 10 or May 11, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., at the Kankakee Clove office.
