The varsity girls basketball team, now 23-1, defeated Reed Custer on January 25th, 56-21. Scoring leaders were Addie Graffeo (15 points), Jenna Hunter (14 points), and Mady Kibelkis (10 points).
The junior varsity girls basketball team also won and exciting game 30-29 to improve their record to 8-8. Allie Walsh had 19 points and hit the game winning free throw with four seconds left in the game.

The varsity girls basketball team defeated Watseka January 25th, 57-21, to improve their record to 22-0. Leaders were Mady Kibelkis (21 points), Jenna Hunter (12 points), and Madi Schroeder (9 points, 7 assists). The junior varsity lost a competitive game, 26-22.
The Peotone Freshman Blue Devils beat Reed-Custer. Caleb Greenquist had 14. Lincoln Tierney and Colin Willis both had 8 points, and Michael Coffey drained two 3’s.
Blue Devils had a nice 50-32 victory over visiting Herscher on January 24th. Miles Heflin finished with 27 points and 7 rebounds. The Devils improve to 11-10 and 5-5 in the ICE Conference.
The JV boys’ basketball team dominated in all facets of the game last night, especially defensively, beating Herscher, 38-21. The team was led by Ruben Velasco with 19 points and 15 rebounds and Evan Lonard with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Nate Wehrmann added 6 points and 6 rebounds, while Chase Rivera grabbed another 10 boards.
