State Rep. Jackie Haas invites constituents to participate in a roundtable forum to discuss ways they’d like to improve the community and better the state. This is the third annual ‘New Bill Roundtable’ the Representative has hosted, and it will continue to serve as a way for Rep. Haas to connect with local constituents and listen to ideas on new legislation for the spring session.

“As an elected official, my job is to represent our community in Springfield, but I can’t do that well without open and active communication within my district,” said Rep. Haas. “Residents in the 79th District have a voice that needs to be heard in the state legislature, and this event is just one way I will facilitate that throughout this session.”

Representative Haas is looking forward to having productive discussions and hearing feedback. The roundtable will be held on January 17, from 3 – 5 p.m., at Rep. Haas’ District Office, 370 E Court Street, in Kankakee.
