Dolores G. Warner-Schuette, 69, of Kankakee passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee. Born January 13, 1953, in Kankakee, she was the daughter of Archie and Dorothy (Alford) Favors. Dolores married Kerwyn Schuette on February 2, 2013, in Bourbonnais.
Dolores worked as a billing specialist at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee, and was a parishioner of Maternity B.V.M. in Bourbonnais. She loved sewing, reading, and touring old architectural buildings. Most of all, Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Kerwyn of Kankakee; one son, Steven (Rosa) Hernandez-Warner; stepsons, Scott (Hannah) Kalk-Schuette of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Cory (Joy) Schuette of Alton; stepdaughter, Tiffaney (Keith) Young of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jordan and Jude Warner, Blake and Dylon Schuette, Asa and Willa Kalk-Schuette, and Daniel and Joey Gagnon; sister, Deanna (Ken) Ford of Kankakee; brothers, Gary (Janice) Favors and Jeff (Rachel) Favors, all of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jay (Peg) Altman of Seattle, Washington, and Michael (Nancy) Favors of Pahrump, Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Steven Warner; and one sister, Judy Favors Claxton.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service on Friday, January 13, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Homes, Kankakee, with Rev. Dan Belanger officiating. Inurnment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais.
