Neila Boucher, 86, of Bradley, passed away peacefully at her home on December 30, 2022. Born on February 2, 1936, in Bradley, she was the daughter of Emery and Juanita “Nita” (Vickery) Allen. Neila married Arthur Boucher on August 20, 1953, in Kankakee. Arthur preceded her in death on December 4, 2003.

Neila was a farm wife and an expert at knitting, sewing, and quilting. Most of all, she loved being a grandma, and she was “Gram” to many.

Surviving are daughter, Kathleen Boucher; sons, Thomas Boucher (Tammy Reeves) and Gustin Boucher; daughter-in-law, Maryjo Boucher; grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Boucher, Eugene Boucher, and Mariel Boucher; step-grandchildren, Heather and Joe Ruel; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Mary O’Brien; and one very special “daughter,” Renee Daggers.

Neila was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; son, John Boucher; grandson, Andrew Boucher; her parents; daughter-in-law, Cyndy Boucher; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Neil “Corky” and Marsha Allen, William and Anna Bolton, and Michael O’Brien.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass was held on January 5, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church, Bourbonnais, with inurnment following at Bloom Grove Cemetery, Manteno.
