Peotone vehicle stickers now are on sale and renewal forms were mailed to residents. The annual sticker is $30, but is discounted for seniors. All passenger vehicles, pick-up trucks, cycles, motorhomes, and neighborhood vehicles (golf carts), regularly parked or housed in the village, are required to have vehicle stickers. Vehicles must be registered by February 15 to avoid late fees.
Peotone $5 dog tags also are on sale through February 28. Proof of rabies vaccination is required.
Beecher dog tags also are on sale. The price is $10 per dog, and the deadline for purchase is March 15. After the March 15 deadline, the price of dog tags increases. Tags may be purchased at village hall or online by clicking on the “ePay” option on the village website. The dog’s name, breed, color, and date of last rabies vaccination will be required to purchase the tag. If paying online, the tags will be mailed to you.
Dog tag fees are used to pay for the services provided by Beecher Veterinary Clinic, for picking up, feeding, and boarding stray animals and lost pets.
