Palos Park police chief invites public for coffee on July 29
The Palos Park Police Department in inviting the community to attend Coffee with the Chief on July 29 at 7 p.m. at the Palos Park Police Station, 8999 W. 123rd St.
Chief Joe Miller will be available for an open discussion with members of the public. Attendees can stop by for a short time or stay for the entire event. The informal event is an opportunity to learn about the operations of the police department, and discuss various community matters or ask questions of Miller.
Palos Park Police also promote their Text the Police Chief Project, which provides a phone number to which people can text and send a message to the police chief and allow anyone to text a question or message and give people a direct link to their police chief.
Palos Park residents can send texts to 708-259-1035.
Coffee with the Chief will take place between 7 and 8 p.m.
