Bridgeview traffic alert for Harlem Avenue Monday morning
On Monday, May 2, The Mosque Foundation in Bridgeview will host Eid prayer services to mark the end of Ramadan at SeatGeek Stadium, 70th Street and Harlem Avenue, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Expected attendance for this event is estimated to be more than 10,000 people.
Expect southbound and northbound traffic on Harlem Avenue to be disrupted during this time. Delays can be expected from 63rd Street to 87th Street on Harlem Avenue. Heavy traffic conditions can also be expected on Roberts Road from Archer Avenue to 87th Street, as well as on 71st Street from Harlem to Roberts Road.
Persons using these routes for travel on May 2 will experience longer than normal travel times and should plan accordingly.
The Mosque Foundation has previously hosted Eid services at SeatGeek Stadium.
