Invite girls to Red Stars soccer camps

Southwest Side girls are invited to take part in a series of camps and clinics offered by the Chicago Red Stars.

The Chicago Red Stars Elite Soccer Academy provides an immersive experience for young female athletes. The program focuses on a full-day structure, much like collegiate and professional players, with an emphasis on improving technical ability and tactical awareness.

The experience includes multi-day sessions, game film, nutrition and healthy eating for the female athlete, plyometric mobility, recovery, yoga, outside speakers, team building and leadership exercises. The curriculum is led by current Red Stars staff, coaches,and players. It is open to girls with birth years 2012-2007.

The Chicago Red Stars Golden Boot Academy is specifically designed for strikers and attacking-minded players, that focus on shooting technique, skill development and tactical awareness in the final third. The staff will put players through a challenging and comprehensive, age/level appropriate training program that provides repetition and ideas in attacking moments. It is open to girls with birth years 2012-2005, and of all skill levels.

The Goalkeeper Academy is designed for female goalkeepers and all sessions are focused around the technical and tactical side of the game that are required to be a top level goalkeeper! The staff will put goalkeepers through a challenging and comprehensive, age/level appropriate work out to give the players an edge over their competition. It is open to girls with birth years 2012-2005, and of all skill levels.

The Chicago Red Stars Preseason Academy is a four -day camp that focuses on skill development and tactical awareness sessions that have been used to create World Cup and Olympic Champions at the Chicago Red Stars. Red Stars Academy camps provide a professional, fun and welcoming environment for girls to cultivate new skills while further developing and mastering current strengths. The camp curriculum works on both the technical (foot skills, passing, and finishing techniques) and tactical (shape and team movement) part of the game. Current Red Stars Academy staff, players and coaches lead Red Stars day camps. It is pen to girls with birth years 2015-2006, and of all skill levels.
