We celebrate the life of Steven Michael Kolecki, aged 66, who passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was the loving father of Michael (Nicole), John (Kristin), and the late Jacqueline, and the proud grandfather of Clark and Patrick. Steven was the dearest brother of Danny and the late Chester, and was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Eleanor Kolecki.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Gloria M. Waymar, of Justice, Illinois, who left us on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the age of 85.

Paul was the cherished son of Krystyna (nee Gal) and Jozef Kalec. He was the loving brother of Stanislaw (Jasia) Kalec and Adam (Justyna) Kalec, and the dear uncle of Amelia and Natalia Kalec. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts.

Anna was the loving mother of Marta (Pawel) Rozalowski and the cherished grandmother of Sara and Julia Rozalowski. She was the beloved daughter of the late Helena (nee Bochenek) and the late Jan Basara. Anna was the dear sister of Maria (the late Jozef) Dygdon, the late Jozef (Helena) Basara, the late Michal (the late Elzbieta) Basara, and Boguslaw Basara. She is also remembered with love by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Maria was the beloved wife of the late Kazimierz Oczachowski and the loving mother of Rafal (Dorota) Oczachowski, Maciej (Katarzyna) Oczachowski, Eric (Elzbieta) Oczachowski, Joanna (George) Campos, Mariola (Allen) Medina, and Maximilian (Alesha) Oczachowski. She was the dearest grandmother of Christopher, Caroline, Tristan, Nathan, Sierra, Olivia, Benjamin, and Jacqueline.

Age 50, passed away on November 20, 2025.

Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Diane J. Swiatkowski, nee Szabelski. Diane shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, David. She was the cherished mother of David Jr. (Diana) Swiatkowski and Donald Swiatkowski, and a devoted grandmother to Evan and Mya.

Mario Salamanca Marquez, 86, of Manhattan, Illinois, and formerly of Chicago’s Pilsen community, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of 64 years to Maria Salamanca and a cherished father to Rose (Steve) Laws, Minerva (Enrique) Seija, Norma (Juan) Nunez, Mario Salamanca, Flavia (Manuel) Ortega, and Monica Salamanca.

Pauline V. Adelman, formerly of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge community and later of Oak Lawn, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, with her family by her side. She was the loving mother of Robert Adelman and Paulette Adelman and the proud grandmother of Amber Adelman and Aaron Adelman.

Amber A. Thiel, a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved partner, passed away unexpectedly. She was the loving mother of Janice (Brian) Anderson and the late Joseph Robert Wells, and the proud grandmother of Brooke Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Brittany Wells, Damien Hartke, and Alex Wheeler.
