Rogelio Confesor Morales, 88, of North Fort Myers, Florida, died Feb. 22, 2026.
He was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Camuy, Puerto Rico.
Morales was the husband of Barbara Morales for 66 years.
Survivors include wife Barbara; children Rick Morales, Chris Ellis and Ed Morales; four grandchildren including Stephen Ellis Jr. (Alerie), Jeffery Ellis (Brie), Kimberly Nance (Richard) and Jessica Seigman (Ryan); and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ramona Heinrich and brother Jose Morales.
Morales was known for his work ethic, resilience, strength and unwavering dedication to his family. He enjoyed outdoor work, caring for animals and staying active throughout his life.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park
