The USA and Canada women’s rugby teams will clash at SeatGeek Stadium on Friday, April 24th, as part of the 2026 Pacific Four Series — an elite international competition featuring four of the world’s top women’s rugby nations.
The matchup will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT and marks one of five Pacific Four Series matches hosted across the United States this spring. Chicago joins Sacramento and Kansas City as host cities for the tournament, which also features New Zealand and Australia.
The Pacific Four Series brings together the world’s most successful women’s rugby programs. New Zealand has dominated the competition since its 2021 debut, winning three titles in 2022, 2023, and 2025. The USA, Canada, and Australia will compete to dethrone the defending champion Black Ferns.
“Welcoming all participating unions for the Pacific Four Series this year is an exciting benchmark for USA Rugby, bringing world class tournament and teams to our US fanbase,” USA Rugby CEO Bill Goren said. “With the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2033 now one year closer, these multi-match events act as building blocks towards our goal of record success in 2033.”
SeatGeek Stadium, located just outside downtown Chicago, has hosted major international sporting events including a 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying match and an international rugby test between the USA and Wales ahead of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The venue is home to Chicago Stars FC, Chicago FC II, and Major League Rugby’s Chicago Hounds.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome the Pacific Four Series to Chicago, and host USA and Canada at SeatGeek Stadium,” said James English, Chicago Hounds Rugby Co-Founder & CEO. “We are committed to continuing to bring elite level rugby to the Windy City.”
Tickets go on pre-sale February 17th, with general sale beginning February 19th. Matches will air on Paramount+ in the US and through local broadcast partners globally, as well as RugbyPass TV.
The full Pacific Four Series schedule runs April 11-24, with matches in Sacramento, Kansas City, and Chicago. Australia and New Zealand will play in Australia.
