Melt ’N Dip, the family-friendly dessert café known for its decadent crepes, waffles, and gelato, celebrated a grand reopening Saturday under new ownership.

Hassan Tawawalla, Mustafa Poonawala, Fakhruddin Madhwala, and Hasnain Bawaadam welcomed customers at the café, located at 13030 S. La Grange Road, with special appearances by Palos Park Mayor Nicole Milovich-Walters and Public Works & Streets Commissioner Rebecca Petan.

The café, which seats up to 100 guests in a cozy, modern space, offers an artistic menu featuring Pistachio waffles, Lotus crepes, Dubai chocolate crepes, and even Kunafa. Patrons can also enjoy gelato, milkshakes, fruit salads, and other specialty items, all topped with Belgian chocolate.

The reopening drew dessert lovers eager to sample the café’s signature items while enjoying the refreshed space. Melt ’N Dip has become a local favorite for its indulgent desserts and inviting atmosphere, making it a destination for both casual visits and special outings.
