David Konopka, age 71, passed away on January 31, 2026.
He was the loving father of Sara and Nichole; cherished friend of Edyta Vernati; and proud grandfather of two. David was the dear brother of James (Christine) Konopka, MaryAnn (Ken) Brinkman, and Carleen Konopka, and loving uncle of Marcin Pietryka.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
A Funeral Service and Time of Remembrance will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
