Michael A. Palazzolo, age 60, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the loving father of Nicole (Josh) Ritz and the late Michael Joseph; cherished grandfather of Samantha, Ella, and Madison; and devoted son of the late Joseph and Alice (née Joy) Palazzolo.
He was the loving brother of Joseph, John (Christine), Mark (late Christina), Tony (Christina), and Frank Palazzolo, and is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Johnny, Geovanni, Dominic, Hannah, Catherine, Madison, Abigail, and Anthony, as well as many cousins and friends.
Mike had a passion for animals, nature, whittling, and cooking—especially his celebrated bread-making skills. His warmth, generosity, and love for family and friends touched all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until prayers at 9:45 a.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of St. Germaine Church, Oak Lawn, IL, with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
